The front figure of the store Kuroishi City is the town which has prospered as a commercial area since the old days It was the place of production of delicious Kuroishi rice, Kuroishi water was pure and had been dotted with the big sake brewery from the Edo Period. The storehouse of the restaurant was once part of the big sake brewery which owned seven warehouses in the area. Another section of the storehouse adjoins it. The kitchen is partly being used for the south side of the storehouse. Both houses are covered by the same roof.
